My tabs to not split in 2 or more lines. [my global conf file is
attached]

to summarize, i use these options:

tabbar.visible=1
tabbar.hide.one=1
tabbar.multiline=1

The multiline setting does not have any effect wheather it is set to
1, 0, 2 (those i've tried).

Anyone have any idea why this is happening?

I do not use any other config file (there is no override).

    This is the documented behaviour: tabbar.multiline is only
    implemented on Windows.

    Thanks... I really like SciTE so I might even implement it, if you would
    tell me if it's even possible on linux (without writing a completely
    separate GTK - i'm new to graphical developement)

    I don't know if it is possible. Even the current appearence
    with the extra title line isn't great.

    Shame. Is scintilla bound to GTK or could it be done in Qt?
