I'm still getting those "save with different name" dialog boxes when trying to save a file that I don't own or that another process has an open handle on. It can be reproduced the same way as last time, e.g trying to save a read-only file with save.on.timer on.

With save.on.timer=1 and a modified read-only file, 3.3.6 only shows a single message box for me.

It does too for me, and stays that way until you try to switch to another program on the taskbar. A new dialog keeps popping up for every click, stealing focus from that program.

Backup and remove all your customisations to properties and scripts. Then re-add each line and see which group of settings causes the problem.

Damn, don't know why I didn't see it at first. It's the save.on.deactivate option that causes the boxes to popup when I try to switch applications.

Change [3fdc43] committed to only show one message box per file.
