The latest tarball (md5sum b75ee549d32f21ce9c97e1eaef69b79e) still contains dotfiles.
$ file .directory
.directory: ASCII text
I have seen the file ".directory"
I will remove it and upload a new tarball.
I could not find the directory " $ file"
Is it just enough to replace the tarball and make an announcement?
I recommend to use automake for creating tarballs.
You can make source tarballs easily with gnu standard rules.
Go to top source directory and then type 'make dist'.
See this document:
Thanks, hwanjin. "./bootstrap && ./configure && make dist" from svn it shall be next time :-)
Would be good to see 1.4.12 soon. 1.4.11 still breaks my Debian build.
Ronald, please change line 2 as well as the SCIM_*_VERSION variable a few lines down to reflect the new version number before running "./bootstrap && ./configure && make dist". I'm not sure if SCIM_REVISION needs to be updated as well. Have a look at r236 for an example.
I've added this information to README in r309 so it will always be available for reference in the future (mostly for the less-seasoned devs like me ;-))
made new tarball, no new comments have been noticed.
