Dear Developer,
I am having great trouble with scigraphica - *same
problem* whether compiled from source, or using
packages rpms.

System = Scientific Linux 4 (basically EL4)

using: numarray = 1.5.1
gtk+extra-2.1.1
scigraphica-2.0.0
libscigraphica-2.0.0

(all sources obtained from SourceForge).

Steps:

1) Fire up sg - OK
2) Create worksheet by importing numerical text file - OK
3) Select 2D plot - OK
4) Double click on plot icon - OK
5) Click Add Data Set button - OK
6) Choose sg worksheet --> select dataset style -->
Edit columns dialogue comes up --> choose the columns I
want - click "OK" button ... CRASH
7) Crash splash screen comes up with "segmentation
fault" and a request to send bug report.

I cannot figure this one out at all. All suggestions
gratefully received.

Regards, David Roscoe

It seems that the problem arises in the compilation of
libscigraphica, and the offending lines are:

    ---------------------------------------------
    checking for libart-config... yes
checking for art_pixbuf_new_rgb in -lart_lgpl... no
    Cannot find LIBART
    ----------------------------------------------
even though libart is installed on the machine (Scientific
Linux 4, a clone of Enterprise Linux 4).
