My problem was one of understanding (yes, my problem was percieved, not real..
well apart from the real problem of assuming there was a problem with trace in
the first place). check-reminders was getting traced, but I was misreading the
output of the trace.
I've fixed the bug and now I'll know that if I get 0: (SOME-FUNCTION 1234)
and no corresponding 0: (SOME-FUNCTION 1234) returned, there is an error in
