i've just compiled an sbcl HEAD and it complains about deleting
unreachable code when compiling local-time HEAD (in the
i've been staring at the code for a while, and i think this warning is
wrong. i believe that it was introduced by one of the last few
(~10-20) patches, because i just did my routine update when the image
when i try to asdf:load-op it in a fresh image and try to C-c C-c it,
i get a "type assertion too complex to check", but not the deleting
unreachable code warning, which is really strange.
there are some declaims in the game, too.

i've double checked things and i was wrong in believing that it's due
to a recent change.
126.96.36.199 exposes the same behavior.
i still don't understand though why i get the deleting unreachable
code warnings while asdf:load-op'ing and not while C-c C-c'ing from
given my confusion, please handle this with low priority and i'll get
back once i have some more useful information.
