I've been wondering if lifting most of the contents of the Beyond ANSI and
Contributed Modules chapters into individual chapters would make stuff
easier to find.
- Compiler (incl. "Efficiency"?)
- Package locks
- OS Interface (incl. "Support for Unix" and sb-posix)
- FFI (incl. sb-grovel)
- Misc. extensions (incl. sb-md5, sb-rotate-byte, truely-the, misc
sb-ext stuff, etc)
A downside of such an organization is that the relation of core SBCL and
contribs may get a bit fuzzy to users, but I personally think the overall
ease of finding stuff is more important.
Ok, feel free to point out how horrible this is. ;-)
