Sorry for bothering the list if this is a transient failure, but when
I try to pull from sf.net's anonymous CVS, I get the following message:
sly@...:~/src/sbcl/sbcl-cvs$ cvs -z3 up -dP
cvs update: authorization failed: server cvs.sourceforge.net rejected
access to /cvsroot/sbcl for user anonymous
cvs update: used empty password; try "cvs login" with a real password
This doesn't seem to be the usual sf.net DOS error. Is it possible
that something has changed and that we need a non-empty password for

When I try to browse the SBCL CVS repository via the web interface at
SourceForge, I get this error:
The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server.
The proxy server could not handle the request GET /viewcvs.py/sbcl.
Reason: Max-Forwards has reached zero - proxy loop?
It happens only for SBCL, I can browse other project repositories at
SourceForge just fine.
