I'm not really sure this is considered a bug, since I'm not in-depth
with the hyperspec, but, here goes ...
The differences in paths on *nix and win32 results in a subtle bug with
sbcl and win32:
(enough-namestring "C:\\temp\\test\\") => "/temp/test/"
(enough-namestring "D:\\temp\\test\\") => "/temp/test/"
For reference, in Allegro CL on win32 this will be:
(enough-namestring "C:\\temp\\test\\") => "\\temp\\test\\"
(enough-namestring "D:\\temp\\test\\") => "D:\\temp\\test\\"
As you can see, sbcl fails to add the D:\\ part on win32. If your app
depends on this (the asdf library asdf-binary-locations does), this
results in some "unexpected" behaviour.
I've already made a workaround, so no reply needed.
