And that is really not very desirable.
I know that there is a "known bug" (no. 22) concerning special-vars.
I don't know if this is the same case.
The entry in BUGS says something about a patch by DTC on cmucl-imp.
I've looked at the patch, but I can't find the relevant code-portion
from source from cons.org.
