There is a minor lossage in the code to find the start of the control stack
on Win32. I missed a trick when I first put it together. Attached is a patch
to reliably and correctly find the real start of the control stack.
On a minor side note, when I tested this patch (XPSP2, cygwin bash via a
win32 console), I found that the stack was exactly half the size that I
thought it had been (512k vs. 1m), and was positioned low enough that the
32-bit stack start pointer would have wrapped around the low end of memory
and ended up somewhere in the #xfff80000 and up range. Fun possibilities
