First of all, happy new year everyone. Brian Mastenbrook asked for an
updated patch that contains all of the recent callback fixes. Things
fixed in this patch are:
1. non-32 bit args (char, short, double, etc...) now work
2. mixing arguments of different sizes now works
3. alien-funcalling variable arg functions now works as arguments are
now properly passed on the stack and in registers. Unfortunately, we
don't know whether or not we're calling vararg functions, so we do
this for all alien-funcalls, which is a minor performance hit.
4. 64-bit args now work
5. callbacks with more than 8 arguments now work
I'd love to see these get integrated into the tree before the 0.9.9
