FWIW, the old mips/mipsel packages from snapshot.debian.net seem to work
good enough for bootstrapping current CVS. I can build and upload a mips
package when you do a new source upload which contains the mips fixes.

Probably mipsel as well. At least, I'm torturing a DECstation with a CVS
snapshot, so far it survived (and is now in make-host2.sh). For
bootstrapping mipsel, well, the DECstation might not be done with it
before the next version gets uploaded. :-) But bootstrapping it with an
old sbcl/mipsel on e.g. vaughan.d.o should work with a bit of admin help.
