Thank you for the diagnosis and bug report. I've added a fix in
sbcl-0.7.5.12 (just checked into CVS).
(Also thanks for the tip about how to capture a transcript of the
squabbles between ilisp and the inferior Lisp. That's something that
I've wished for in the past, and which could be handy to know in the
