Thank you, I've committed most of this patch, and all of your previous
PCL patch, in sbcl-0.7.3.9.
I noticed a problem in this patch, that two of the functions converted
to macros were used as SETF places, so they would've needed SETF
functions defined to go with the ordinary functions in order to pass
the regression tests. I decided that was too much trouble, so I just
changed 'em back to macros.
