[Sbcl-devel] sbcl eats all memory compiling a function

Andrzej Walczak noticed that under (im)proper optimization settings,
sbcl chokes on trying to compile
split-unix-namestring-directory-components.
The deadly settings: (optimize (speed 2) (debug 2) (safety 2)
(compilation-speed 3))

I reproduced with sbcl 1.1.9. See file attached (requires asdf3
provided by sbcl or installed, for simplification).

Death occurs by eating all memory in IR1-OPTIMIZE for the inner lambda.
