I'm seeing sb-gmp and sb-posix fail to build on Windows (x86). Is that expected?

Hi,

I'd like to freeze development for a short time to release sbcl-1.1.16.
I know that the new register allocator still isn't playing well with
"minor" architectures; does anyone know more than that?  (And is there a
minimal kludge that makes the architectures build again, even if
suboptimally?).  Other than that, please test, fix regressions and
ignore the temptation to implement highly exciting new features, at
least for a few days.

If I have stable internet access at the time, I intend to release on
Thursday or Friday.

Best,

Christophe
