Aha, so, just in case anyone is interested.....

The reminders source is :-

The unetwork source is :-

Unetwork uses puri, which is available from http://files.b9.com/puri/puri-1.5.2.tar.gz

The code basically works for simple reminders, but more complex ones with combinations of repeats, weekdays and warn befores do unexpected, incorrect things.

Thanks for the other advice too, I'll look at PCL and try some of the websites mentioned. I might even gather up enough courage for comp.lang.lisp.
