This is probably a daft question, but here goes...
I'm running Saxon 6.x over XML sources created with XMetaL. XMetaL
associates the XML with a DTD via a catalog file. Accordingly, Saxon reports
that it cannot locate the DTD because it encounters a system identifier in
the DOCTYPE declaration but does not know how to resolve the identifier as
it has no clue about XMetaL's catalog file.
The DTD is set up so that it is expendable, and no information would be lost
if Saxon never read the DTD.
So how can I tell Saxon (both via the API and command line) to ignore the
DTD altogether? Do I have to create a URIResolver thingummy, or is there a
declarative solution? My best outcome would be using a 6.x version of Saxon
with no customisations or alterations to the source code.
