I'm going to have to provide an option on this, and probably change the
default, but with the current version the only way you can avoid this
wrapping is to use the API directly rather than the command line

You missed the fact that he (?) is using XQuery rather than XSLT.

Excellent! I can play with XQuery now, and try using it in the real world
later after I get more familiar with it. Works for me. I don't do java work,
so the API wouldn't be useful to me.
