I think I have found the problem and it isn't situated at the Saxon level. The problem lays with an extension for Visual Studio .NET called Resharper and I can work around it.

It compiles at the moment, although I didn't actually get the example file 'XsltExamples.cs' to work.
A filename is given to the ExampleSimple1 method, but it expects an Uri. Had no time yet to look at this, but I'm guessing it's probably something stupid I did :)
