I would like to write something for the saxon wiki. I wasn't aware of the wiki so far, so I looked at it and it seems promising. 

I am not sure where you want a perl page, maybe you create one and I fill it with content. My user name at sourceforge is mauricemengel. 

I am not sure I will be able to do proper performance testing, unless  somebody points me in the right way.

Of course this won't solve all the problems that people have, for
example the fact that domestic web hosting suppliers often won't run
Java; but it's useful nevertheless.
