Sorry, you need to be more explicit.
Are the empty XHTML tags in your input, or are they required in your output?
What are you actually doing that doesn't behave as you would expect it to behave?
(Of course Saxon can cope with empty element tags! - in general)

Subject: [saxon] Problem with Saxon HE and empty tags



I am using Saxon HE to parse XML data and generate plain text (Cobol copybook) structure.

Therefore I am using the output method “text”. Unfortunately in this configuration saxon can not cope with empty xhtml tags (<xxx/>).

Does anyone know how solve this problem?
