Could you try
    xmlHandler.startElement(XMLConstants.NULL_NS_URI, nodeName, nodeName, atts);
?

Hi,

I am facing this problem when i shifted from Saxon-8.7 to Saxon-9he jar .

xmlHandler.startElement("", "",nodeName, atts);

 org.xml.sax.SAXException: Parser configuration problem: namespace reporting is not enabled
org.xml.sax.SAXException: Parser configuration problem: namespace reporting is not enabled
        at net.sf.saxon.event.ReceivingContentHandler.getNameCode(ReceivingContentHandler.java:383)
        at net.sf.saxon.event.ReceivingContentHandler.startElement(ReceivingContentHandler.java:289)

I do not have any namespace to pass in that argument. So i have passed just empty string. But i get this error. Any work around for this will be of great help. I do not know why is this problem in the new release of the jar.  :(
Can any one tell me the way to overcome this.

Thanks in advance,
Rajath
