The table of characters considered to be alphanumeric, used when handling the format picture in xsl:number, does not include the ranges

4E00-9FBB
AC00-D7A3

(with the exception of the first and last codes in the range). This arises because the Unicode database uses a special notation to identify these ranges, rather than listing each of the characters independently.

Note that the current list uses the Unicode 4.0 database (not 4.1).

A patch to add the two ranges mentioned above will be added to Subversion on the 9.1 branch.
