It is failing to execute gpg. Hi, I tried running the following command, and it produced the error below s3cmd put -e --recursive command-line-basics/ s3://testbucket0001 when I remove the -e encrypt flag, it doesn’t produce an error. It's failing to invoke gpg. Do you have gpg installed? Also, I recommend you upgrade to 1.5.0-rc1 or upstream github.com/s3tools/s3cmd master branch for many bug fixes since 1.0.1.
