I am trying Putty, with NOkia X6 device (symbian s60 5th edition), and it works flawlessly when I am over 3G mobile connection, but if I select wifi, application hangs (sometimes it exits with a error that could not find server), and could not close it anyway until I reboot.

Despite this bugs seems duplicate of #2616687, it ISN'T, because in my case there's no net missconfiguration. Everything works OK from other PC connected to same AP.
I've tried with a no-ip.com address, and also with internal IP with no luck.
Despite I can still use the app over 3G connection, I would thank you to make it work over wifi too.

I have the same problem on the 5800 XM. (also S50v5), except that PuTTY hangs and nearly freezes the system, and that it doesn’t matter if it’s WiFi or 3.5G.

Oh, and this is the case since at least a few versions. Before that, it was slow but worked fine.
