When I define the cutchars in my .Xdefaults like that:

urxvt.cutchars: -

I got the default cutchars plus my defined cutchar -
But the man-pages suggests that you can set/reset the cutchars.

Secondly I wonder how to set the cutchars correctly. When I try it like that:

urxvt.cutchars: BACKSLASH `"'&()*,;<=>?@[]{|}

I've got parsing errors:

.Xdefaults:56: error: Unterminated string literal, skipped the line
urxvt.cutchars : BACKSLASH `"'&()*,;<=>?@[]{|}
1 error in preprocessor.

When reloading the Xdefaults with

% xrdb ~/.Xdefaults

This second issue is not realy rxvt related, but I think it would be nice to mention the right way in the manpage.

I'm using rxvt-unicode (urxvt) v9.12 - released: 2011-06-29.
