I seem to be having some problems with rsyncrypto when run from command line in windows. Using ver 1.01. (BTW =96 great bit of lateral thinking to make encrypted files rsyncable) Assume I have the following c:\ FolderToBeEncrypted\FileToBeEncrypted.txt c:\FolderWithEncrypted I want to recursively encrypt data from "c:\FolderToBeEncrypted" to "c:\FolderWithEncrypted" I have a valid crt file (works when encrypting single files) So command is PathToRsyncrypto\rsyncrypto.exe =96-recursive c:\FolderToBeEncrypted c:\FolderWithEncrypted c:\FolderKeys MyCert.crt However this doesn't work rsyncrypto pauses for a few seconds as though doing something but no data. Have I missed the syntax completely? Also -r doesnt seem to wot only - - recursive, same to with -h, it spits out the help file but only because its an invalid argument. A second issue I am having is while encrypting a single file if I use another drive it fails but the command used from same drive to same drive works. Example Works rsyncrypto.exe =96r c:\todo\EncryptThis.txt c:\temp\EncryptThis.enc c:\temp\EncryptThis.key MyCert.crt Doesn't Work rsyncrypto.exe =96r c:\todo\EncryptThis.txt e:\temp\EncryptThis.enc e:\temp\EncryptThis.key MyCert.crt in the second case e: is a hard drive with same permissions as c: it has a temp folder etc. Regards John |
