I use win7 64bit and java 64bit:
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_16-b01)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 14.2-b01, mixed mode)
cant run rssowl 2.0.5 i change -vm parametr of exe file to : "C:\Program Files
(x86)\RSSOwl\RSSOwl.exe" -vm "c:\Program Files\Java\jre6\" and rssowl say:
"A Java Runtime Enviroment must be available in order to run RSSOwl. No Java
virtual machine was found after searching the following locations:
~\jre6\default.ee javaw.exe jvm.dll"
but I have this but in 64bit ... cool :/
why rssowl is only 64bit linux ?! help
2.0.6 will be released to support Windows 64 Bit, stay tuned.
I really want to run RSSowl on my 64bit windows 7 machine. :)
When Can I get this?
Willing to install RSSowl on my new brand 64-bit machine, I installed the app along with all previous feed links. Worked Nicely. BUT... no Internet connection is possible. In other words:
- updating a feed (<CTRL-U>)
- global feed update (<CTRL-Shift-U>)
and also Tools/Find more feeds fail. Same for getting my French localization file.
As a side note, I have to precise that Java site pointed me out that my browser (Opera) being a 32-bits app, I will need both 32 and 64 versions in order to run. All apps work nicely, so far.
Any idea ?
