Recently an ad for Elysium started appearing in the Ars Technica article feed. The ad is animated, but although it has what appears to be player controls, it's actually just an animated GIF. Downloading and playing this GIF file outside RSSOwl works as expected. But within RSSOwl, the GIF starts out okay, then gradually slows down, increasing CPU use as it does so. When the animation loops back to the start, it plays normally again. Repeat. It looks like there's something wonky with the way RSSOwl handles animated GIF files.
