At work we block access to external web pages to people using IE. RSSOwl is generally unaffected by this, however if I do a Search for Newsfeeds, I get a Connection Failed message. The problem is that RSSOwl uses the following user agent string when contacting google to perform the search.

    User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows XP)

This is undistinguishable from IE so gets caught by our ban rule on Squid. Is there a way to have RSSOwl identify itself as something else? Alternatively, could you insert RSSOwl at the end of the user agent string in a similar way to Opera impersonating IE? e.g.

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows XP) RSSOwl

I'm guessing this "cloaking" is all done for a good reason, but it does no harm to ask... ;-)
