Currently the 'Network Connections' section allows 3 configuration options:
1) Don't use a proxy server
2) Take over proxy settings from Internet Explorer
3) Use private proxy server settings
Would it be possible to add support for SOCKS proxies? Some firewalls block access to certain web domains and hence their RSS feeds. Using an SSH connection it is possible to use a client's localhost connection over, say port 443. This is then routed out via the SSH connection to the proxy server.
Firefox add-ins such as 'Foxyproxy' can filter which proxy to use by the the web URL requested.
It would be useful for RSSBandit to be able to configure the proxy to use for each feed (with the default being the default proxy).
