I get a LOT of feed errors. I have 23 just now. Why do
these happen so regularly and what can be done about
them?

Here's one from your own site:

Refresh feed 'RSS Bandit\Dare's RSS Bandit Blog' failed
with error: GZIP crc sum mismatch, theirs "30413902"
and ours "-438461632

    I just installed RC1 to see if it would help this problem. It
    didn't.

    Here are 2 new feed errors I just got. Each one validated as
    good.

    Do these issues show up with v1.2.0.117? We fixed a bunch
    of problems in this area with that release.

    errors from RSSBandit that the Validator says are good feeds:
