I've updated the Zero Install feed for ROX-Filer so that it can use
the copy of ROX-Filer installed by apt-get (if available), instead of
downloading a new one.
You'll need zeroinstall-injector >= 0.29 for this to work:
Note: Since Debian currently only has ROX-Filer 2.5, it will by
default offer to download 2.6.1 instead, because it's newer. You can
change the policy in the normal way (e.g. set 'Network use' to
'Minimal' to make it prefer an older version that it already has).
This should avoid the problem some people complained about where you
already have a program and Zero Install insists on downloading another
copy of it. Let me know if there are any problems!
This technique also works for libraries (but ROX-Lib isn't in Debian
anyway, so most of our programs aren't affected). For more details
