An `Open with...' item. It really happens very often that I want to open
something with a different program than the default one.

Multiple start actions. Left (double)-clicking starts the first item in
the start action list and the menu gives alternatives. You could put
(a)vfs in this menu as well. For example for a tarball you could have
avfs as default, tar -zxvf as second and xterm -e "tar -tzvf $1" as third
Also you can have all the text editors in the world to open text (have a
new editor for every day of the year or something)
