Hello, I have a question about the Tasklist. It is not really a bug, just an annoyance. When the Rox Desktop loads, the Tasklist already has the listing "ROX-Filer [2]", which is not really accessible or usuable. Is there some way to filter these out, like an exclude list? Thanks to all. __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Friends. Fun. Try the all-new Yahoo! Messenger. http://messenger.yahoo.com/ |

The tasklist and the pager uses libwnck. I think it's libwnck that's having trouble... the _NET_WM_STATE_SKIP_TASKBAR property is set by ROX. My WinList applet checks that property and it works as it should, "ROX-Filer" is not visible in it... /Jonatan - [ http://kymatica.com ] |

I can get rid of it with 'wmctrl', setting the nessecery _NET_WM hints: wmctrl -i -r `wmctrl -l | egrep "\-1.+ROX" | cut -d" " -f1` -b \ add,skip_taskbar,skip_pager Maybe you like to put this in a script and put it on pinboard/panel where you can call it at the begin of your session ...
