I finally got back to work on librox-perl tonight (I started a new job
last week, and I've been coming home fried at night), thinking I'd try
and get DND stuff working (via the ROX::Loader module). I discovered in
doing so that a key method, drag_dest_find_target, remains unimplemented
in gtk2-perl; however, gtk2-perl is quickly approaching a 1.0 release,
and this *should* be in place by that time.
Unfortunately, it means I can't really continue developing or testing
librox-perl until that method (and, most critically, the typemap for
GtkTargetList on which it depends) is available.
Those of you who have been waiting for a stable release of librox-perl
before trying it out... it's complete at this point except for DND
functionality. So, if you don't need that yet, or can get by without it
for a few more weeks, *please* give it a spin; I need more testers! and
some demo apps!
