I can't install ROX-Filer, I don't know why, I usually compile and install binaries without problems in my Slackware 8.0 Linux box. I think I've got all the neccessary tools installed (the gnu c compilers, Perl, GTK+, GNU bc, gdk-pixbuf, glib, pygtk, and a pile of gnome binaries). I installed before the ROX base (rox-base-1.0.1.tgz) in /usr/share/choices, yet the ROX-Filer doesn't install. I have compiled, installed and used the XFCE desktop without any problems problems, but the ROX-Filer doesn't want me. I'd really appreciate any suggestion here 'cause I have no clue. What follows are the failure scripts in my console, thanks in advance!

Looking for a miracle I also tried installpkg with the .tgz packages:
root@darkstar:/tmp/rox/source stable# installpkg rox-1.0.0.tgz
Installing package rox-1.0.0.tgz (Priority: [unknown])...
PACKAGE DESCRIPTION:
Well, nothing, no rox at the shell, no rox anywhere (find / -name rox)
Any clues? thanks again
