Thanks for fixing the ladspa and dssi file paths, I was able to finally remove the patch used since 10.02 when nobody wanted to cater for lib64. Here's the only one left in openSUSE - rosegarden-10.10-filepaths.patch which gives the correct path to examples, templates and drivers although if they are supposed to be editable should be in a directory under the users ${HOME}

  • I can't apply this patch to the official Rosegarden sources, because then it would point nowhere.

    ls: cannot access /usr/share/rosegarden/: No such file or directory

    $ ls ~/.local/share/rosegarden/library
    AccessVirus.rgd [...]

    Isn't your distro one of the ones that insists on breaking our resource bundle and installing this stuff to /usr? If so, whoever maintains the patch to bring that about should also take responsibility for changing this file path to point to the altered location.

    I know it's inconvenient for you, but I'm not going to change something we like about Rosegarden to please one distro with annoying rules. Your rules, your problem to deal with them. Sorry.
