I would like to use DSSI with Rosegarden. I have installed DSSI-VST,
Jack and Rosegarden. Jack runs succesfully and I have set the
environment variable DSSI_PATH to /usr/local/lib/dssi and the VST_PATH
variable to a folder in my home directory.
Everyting seems fine, but I do not have a "synth plugin" device
available in Rosegarden. (After running jack)
Does someone know how I can dissolve this?
I am on Debian and installed jack and rosegarden with the package
manager, and I installed dssi-vst from source.
Do I have to install DSSI also pherhaps?
Thanks for the help.

Instead of using Rosegarden as DSSI host, you can also use
jack-dssi-host [dssiplugin.so] to execute a DSSI plugin.
there are three tutorial videos, and one of them (AFAIR the
first of the two new ones) shows how to use a DSSI plugin in
conjunction with the jack-dssi-host.
