Fellow Rosegardeners... I really need help here ! I've got rosegarden
4-.9.91 on slackware 10 /audioslack with kernel 2.4.29/alsa 1.0.8/jack
.99.54. When I record all seems well, but when I stop the playback I get a
small additional rectangle on the end of the record object and another box
on top of the object like 2 objects on top of one another. . When I delete
the end box, all is fine. If I delete the main object Rosegarden crashes.
This is a constant. I have also tried Rosegarden 4-1 on RH9/CCRMA... same
behavior ....deleting the object crashes Rosegarden. I am also getting
graphical anomalies such as midi data appearing as white dots on the canvas
ahead of the object during record; midi data "dots" disappearing during
record as the object grows in size; after recording an object, moving it
seems to make a copy of the object which vanishes when you click on the
original. Seriously weird stuff. Does anything like this happen for anyone
BTW, the key bindings seem very flaky. If you select spacebar as the default
for "play" it works reliably only if the transport bar doesn't have focus;
otherwise punch-in record (the binding default) is invoked which is a real
PITA. And even then I have seen it go into record mode without the transport
bar visible. Is there a bug report about any of this or should I post one?
Any help would be appreciated!
Happy Easter everyone.
