I only record short tracks (around 10 seconds) to test if it works, so
I can see the whole track in my window.
Any other idea ?

Rewind before pressing play? Scroll the canvas?
RG doesn't rewind the cursor automatically after a recording has finished=
RG also automatically erases any empty space at the start and the end
of a recorded segment. Your recorded segment is probably out of view.

I'm sorry, I've lost track. You're saying what here? You record something=
you see a red bar moving along that gets preview notes in it as you record,=
and then when you stop, it goes away completely?
Or am I missing the point?
If you're doing short segments, you might be seeing bug=20
Otherwise, it sounds like you're seeing something new, and something ugly.
