Dear RG Team, I've tried many things but am having no luck getting RG Classic to run. It appears that the install probably was bad. I forgot to attach the screenshots from before. What promted a rebuild: I was on Ubuntu 8.10, and was having no luck getting steady MIDI. I complied from source the 1.7.3 tar ball and also trunk "Thorn" that is when I had the missing icons (see screenshots) I tried a few things, but didn't work. MIDI was horrible so I upgraded to Ubuntu 9.04 last night. "Thorn" played steady under 9.04, but RG Classic still looks like the screenshots, I altered the source files to get rid of the double // but the files where never copied from the install to the user/local/apps/... dir. So I copied the feta.xpm there. That kept it from bombing when I went to configure. I've got something wrong and I don'ty know what. My install is not taking from source, I also tried an install via Ubuntu repositories for 1.7.2 and got the same results. Any advice would be helpful. Sincerely, Julie S. |
