These "enchancements" sound exciting.  Quantization still
covers a multitude of sins: we need to add a generic
quantization dialog to the matrix and notation views (I'm
happy to do that) and there are all sorts of problems
springing up from the "smoothing" (formerly legato)
quantizer in the notation view -- it's supposed to be a
view-local change but it alters all sorts of data in the
base Event, thus screwing things up for other views.  This
is really just the worst symptom of a distinctly nasty
misdesign -- Guillaume was right all along, many of the
notation-specific properties should have been stored in
the NotationElement and not in the Event.  Fortunately
there aren't too many of them, and I could easily even add
a PropertyMap to the NotationElement, but I'm considering
some alternatives because I still need to make it possible
to set some view-local properties (namely the aforementioned
quantize values) from within base/Quantizer.C where we know
nothing about NotationElements at all.  Hmm.
