It looks like the way to do this is with vkeybd. I'm pretty sure that's th= e=20 name I've seen flung around here. I did a quick check to install it so I could tell you something more about = it,=20 and for some reason Debian no longer has this thing available. It was in=20 Woody, but it's not in testing, unstable or even experimental. I have no=20 idea why. I got the source, and even after editing the Makefile it isn't going to bui= ld=20 without considerable hacking. I really don't have time to fool with it rig= ht=20 now. I presume once you have it running Rosegarden will detect it and give you t= he=20 option of using it as a recording device. > I also would like to know if it's possible to change the volune of a whole > track in rosegarden ? If not, can it be changed in fluidsynth ? Use the volume knob in the Instrument Parameters box. I don't really cover the concept of what controllers are actually *for* ver= y=20 well yet, but this will show you where I'm talking about if nothing else: http://rosegarden.sourceforge.net/tutorial/using-rosegarden/en/chapter-4.ht= ml#4_2 I'm making a mental note to deal with vkeybd and to explain more what=20 controllers are for, and how to use them when I next work on the tutorial. =2D-=20 Michael McIntyre ---- Silvan <dmm...@us...> Linux fanatic, and certified Geek; registered Linux user #243621 http://www.geocities.com/Paris/Rue/5407/ |
