Hail people, Im using a Debian GNU/Linux with kernel 2.4.24 and Rosegarden4 0.9.6 My soundcard is a Creative Live! and im not using ALSA. When i starts the Rosegarden, appears a message with the error: "Sequencer exited", and i see that the rosegarden its trying to use the alsa driver (that i dont have). Its possible to use the Rosegarden without ALSA (with OSS sending to /dev/sequencer) ? Because i read that the midi recording and editing its provided by ALSA. If its right, someone can help with ALSA install ? Because i've tryied to install it following the alsa offical site and dont works, i dont know if the MIDI device its suported by ALSA in my soundcard. Thanks a Lot. -- --==--==--===--===--==---==---==-- Fernando França Linux Sys Admin linux user #263682 ##### ####### ##0#0## #*****# ## *** ## # ## # ## # ### **# ##* ******# #****** *******# #******* *****########***** ##### ---------- Original Message ----------- From: ros...@li...
