Ted: All of my systems have jackd2, and I have been using Rosegarden with it successfully that way for years. That being said, the system I did the testing to reproduce the problem on seems to work fine with libjack, as the dependency line below suggests. The reason I have libjack-jackd2 is not from any need I know of.
