Category: None Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Gunhild (julipanette) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Undo paste range will edit original instead of pasted range Initial Comment: Undoing a pasted range will undo/change the originally selected range instead of the pasted one. Here's one way to reproduce this: In a new file, * add a 5/4 time signature change at measure 2. * add a 4/4 time signature change at measure 3. * Shift + drag to select measure 2 and 3 as a range. * Ctrl + Shift + C to copy the range * Move the marker to the beginning of measure 4 * Ctrl + Shift + V to paste the range * Undo paste range The time signature changes in measure 2 and 3 are now gone, and only those that were pasted remain, at measure 5 and 6. Measure 4 is now a 1/4 measure, although the time signature is not visible. * Undo copy range Nothing happens * Undo add time signature change The time signature change at measure 6 disappears * Undo add time signature change The time signature change at measure 5 disappears. What I would have expected to happen was that the original time signature changes at measures 2 and 3 were to remain where they were, while undoing the pasting of the range removed the time signature changes at measures 4 and 5. * Redo add time signature change A 5/4 time signature change will occur at measure 2 * Redo add time signature change A 4/4 time signature change will occur at measure 3 Does this mean that rosegarden regards only the copied and pasted range as the range, instead of the originally selected range? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=104932&aid=1837839&group_id=4932 |
