Sorry, a very brief answer

Save to midi then render to wave with timidity

Create a wave file from a midi file ...

timidity -Ow -o mymasterpiece.wav mymasterpiece.mid

Conversion is quite fast - runs at processor speed,  >> than recording / real time rendering

Convert all midi files in a folder ...

timidity -Ow *.mid.

Can also render to mp3. See "man timidity" (sorry)

Not quite the direct export you wanted but could be useful perhaps

Subject: [Rosegarden-user] Export?

All -

As I get close to finishing my composition, I am wondering ... is there a way to export from Rosegarden as an MP3 or as a WAV file?  I can see how to export to a MIDI file, but can I do the former?

Thanks,
Tom
